Unsuprisingly Pete Doherty has been a much talked about subject this week, however this time its for the right reasons. With a new album on the way, entitled 'Grace/Wastelands', due for release on March 16th Pete is back on the publicity circuit and a few bootlegs have been flying around the web. A particular find is the new single 'Last of the English Roses' as performed on the Late Late Show over in Ireland. It will be quite interesting to see what comes from this album, there are a couple of interesting collaborations (the most intriguing one being Graham Coxon) but I think it will be different with Pete Doherty only having himself really for support to see how it all goes.
Of course whenever listening to a bit of Doherty two things always follow: the digging out of every decent acoustic song that he has recorded and many, many repeated plays of The Libertines. If you get the chance, take a look at 'The Freewheelin Pete Doherty' acoustic album over sendmedeadflowers.com (in the May 2007 archives) because no Doherty or Libertines fan should be without it.
Catch you later.
